Community moderation

The Community page is the moderation console for everything users see in the client community feed — imported showcase content (Kling) plus native user posts.

The header numbers

  • Published / Hidden / Removed — current state of all works.
  • Reports open — turns amber when users have filed reports awaiting review. Treat as an inbox.

Works tab

Search by author or ID; filter by status / type (video, image, audio) / source (KLING import vs NATIVE user content). Each row's action menu:

ActionWhen to useReversible?
HideBorderline content pending a decision; temporarily pull from feed✅ yes
PublishRestore hidden content✅ yes
Take down (REMOVED)Policy violation — permanent removal from feed, row kept for audit✅ technically
Hard deleteSpam floods, DMCA — the row itself disappearsno

Prefer Take down over Hard delete — it preserves the audit trail. Every action is recorded in the Audit log with your admin identity.

Reports tab

Users file reports against posts/comments/users. Filter tabs: OPEN → REVIEWING → ACTION_TAKEN / DISMISSED.

Workflow per report:

  1. Read the reason + details; note the target ID.
  2. Find the target in the Works tab (or Users page for user reports) and take the actual action (Hide / Take down / Suspend).
  3. Back in Reports → Resolve → pick the outcome:
    • ACTION_TAKEN — you hid/removed/suspended something
    • DISMISSED — report was invalid
    • REVIEWING — parked for a second opinion
  4. Add an internal note (visible to other admins via the audit log).

Content sources

  • KLING — imported showcase content; the platform periodically re-syncs like counts from the source. Hiding/removing here only affects your feed.
  • NATIVE — user-generated on your platform; moderation actions are the only copy.
